Police are hunting a man after a pervert knocked on a window before exposing himself to a woman in her home.

Officers were called to Waterloo Road in Whitstable yesterday shortly before 7am before launching a search of the area.

The force says no one matching the suspect’s description was located.

“The suspect is described as a 30-year-old white man who was wearing black clothing and a black hat or balaclava,” a police spokesman said.

It is understood the man kept ringing the alleged victim’s doorbell and hiding before exposing himself.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and anyone with any information, or dashcam or doorbell footage which might assist, is urged to call police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/195252/24.
