An aggressive drunk was tasered by officers in the early hours of this morning.
British Transport Police (BTP) were alerted to the rowdy yob in Graystone Road, Whitstable , by a concerned member of the public.
But the inebriated man became so hostile that they used a taser to subdue him.
BTP tweeted: "After attending a call in Whitstable officers were flagged down by a member of public to an aggressive drunk male in the street.
"Due to the aggression of the male officers had to deploy taser to safety subdue him and he was arrested for being drunk and disorderly."
A Kent Police spokesman said they were called to assist BTP at 1.30am.
"Officers attended and a man in his late teens was arrested and later issued with a penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly," they added.
