Eight artists in a popular television series will tackle the stunning scenes of a Kent seaside town in this week's episode.
Sky Arts' Landscape Artist of the Year is a fine art competition which aims to uncover the country's next great landscape artist.
This series of Landscape Artist of the Year - presented by Stephen Mangan and Joan Bakewell - places focus on landscapes which exemplify aspects of climate change and renewables.
Eight artists use paints, pencils, brushes and biros to showcase their artistic flair for the outdoors in just four hours in a bid to be crowned the winner.
Throughout the day, expert judges - portrait artist Tai Shan Schierenberg, curator Kathleen Soriano and art historian Kate Bryan - circulate among the artists, assessing their talents and skills.
In this week's episode, it is the third heat and the contestants set out to tackle the bustling scenes of Whitstable Harbour.
The winner of this heat will go through to the semi-final and get one step closer to claiming the prize of a £10,000 commission for the Manchester Art Gallery to create an artwork celebrating the heritage of the North West of England.
Joining the competitors will be a host of artists trying their luck as Wildcards, hoping to catch the eye of our judges Kathleen Soriano, Kate Bryan and Tai Shan Schierenberg.
If successful, one lucky winner will stand the chance of also reaching the semi final.
Landscape Artist Of The Year continues on Wednesdays at 8pm on Sky Arts, freeview channel 11, and streaming service NOW.
