A teenager suffered a head injury after a high street ruckus involving a “large group of people”.
A 14-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were arrested after the incident in Whitstable High Street on Saturday.
Emergency services were called after reports of a disturbance.
They found one teenage boy who had suffered a head injury and he was treated by paramedics.
Another was reportedly assaulted but did not require medical treatment.
A police spokesman said: “Two people have since been arrested in connection with the incident.
“A 14-year-old boy from Canterbury was arrested on suspicion of assault and a 20-year-old man from Canterbury was arrested on suspicion of affray.
“Both have since been bailed pending further inquiries.”
