Three people were arrested this morning following a drug raid in Whitstable in which cannabis and other drugs were seized.

Two police vans attended an address in Island Wall shortly after 9am to search a property after gaining a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Police spokesman Jon Green said a 21-year-old man and two women aged 18 and 36 were arrested and remain in custody.

He said: "A quantity of cannabis and some other drugs were found at the address and are in the process of being analysed."
