Part of a town centre was shut off after a lorry hit some scaffolding.
Police cordoned off Whitstable High Street between the Duke of Cumberland pub and Gladstone Road just before 9.30am today.
They worked to move the truck, which had become stuck.
Police spokesman Scarlet Jones said: "Police received a report that a lorry had collided with scaffolding in Whitstable High Street at 9.24am today.
"Officers are at the scene."
Traffic built up in the area, and cars and buses were diverted along Cromwell Road.
The lorry has now been released and the road has been re-opened.
