A wall has been destroyed after being hit by a car.

The crash happened on Sea Street in Whitstable late last night.

Witnesses say the vehicle ploughed into the wall near homes not far from the sea front at around 11.30pm.

Pictures sent to KentOnline show the front bumper of the car ripped off and rubble left strewn across the road.

It is not known yet if anyone was injured.

Police have been contacted for more information.
