A man been arrested after a high-value sports car was reported stolen.
The black convertible Porsche 911 Turbo was taken from a home in Wave Crest in Whitstable between 6am and 7am on Saturday, December 29.
The car keys, along with a purse containing bank cards and cash, were swiped before the vehicle itself was taken.
The car was found with the keys inside it in Millstrood Road, Whitstable, shortly afterwards.
A 24-year-old man was arrested in Faversham on the same day on suspicion of burglary, but has been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
DC Rob Goodban said: "We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the burglary or saw the Porsche being driven in the Whitstable area on Saturday morning to contact us.
"We are also encouraging people to protect themselves against car key burglars by making sure keys, cash and expensive items are stored safely and out of sight."
Police recommend double-locking uPVC doors and windows, timer switches on lights and radios to make it look as though someone is home, and keeping garden gates locked as ways people can protect themselves against opportunist thieves.
If you saw the car or have information about the burglary, phone police on 01843 222289 quoting reference number 46/33271/18.
