Whitstable boss Simon Halsey admits his side just needs a bit of luck in front of goal

Simon Halsey says Whitstable are not far away from turning the corner and hopes a break from Ryman League action will help them get back on track.
The Town boss was upbeat despite Tuesday’s 4-2 home defeat to Ramsgate – and the associated hoo-hah that surrounded the return of former managers Jim and Danny Ward to the Belmont.
Despite an electric atmosphere among the supporters, Halsey claimed it had been “just another game.”
He added: “I was pleased. We applied ourselves much better than we did (in a 2-1 home defeat) against Molesey on Saturday.
“We have come away with nothing from two games against top-six teams but I felt we’ve done enough to get something from both games.
“We just need a break, a bit of luck in front of goal, some better decision-making or maybe even a decision going our way. We are not far off.”
After five defeats in six in Ryman League, Division 1 South, Town are in FA Trophy preliminary round action at home to Worthing on Saturday (3pm) with a Kent Senior Cup trip to Sittingbourne on Tuesday (7.45pm).
Kieran Campbell (hip) limped against the Rams and is a doubt for Saturday.
