Whitstable boss Jamie Coyle has made three signings on the eve of the new season.
The trio of new recruits were revealed on Thursday night - less than two days before the Oystermen’s season-opening Southern Counties East Premier Division journey to Sutton Athletic.
Exciting young former Dartford winger Marvin Herschel arrives, having also played on loan for Ashford Town (Middlesex) and Margate.
He is set to play alongside fellow midfielder Mitch Chapman. He has previously played for Cray Wanderers, Ramsgate, Faversham and Hythe.
Also joining Whitstable is attacker Ali Fofana. He played alongside Coyle at Glebe last term.
Coyle’s team will begin their FA Cup campaign at Sevenoaks - and against Coyle’s predecessor Marcel Nimani, who only left The Belmont club this April - on Saturday, August 3, before their first competitive home action in the league against Rusthall seven days later.
