A ‘medical emergency’ has been cleared after causing delays on the M20 as traffic builds in the Operation Brock contraflow.

The coastbound route between Junction 8 for Leeds Castle and Junction 9 for Ashford had a lane closed earlier this afternoon with traffic building as a result.

Traffic reporting system Inrix states this is down to a ‘medical emergency’ while a 50mph speed restriction due to the Brock system remains in place.

Police and ambulance crews have been contacted for comment.
