An A-road is blocked in both directions after a multi-vehicle smash involving a supermarket food delivery van.

A28 Canterbury Road in Ashford is blocked between Magazine Road and Somerset Road following the incident this morning, which is causing delays elsewhere.

Pictures show three vehicles involved, including a Tesco delivery van, with it not yet known the extent of anyone’s injuries.

The incident has happened at the junction with Albert Road and Hardinge Road.

Police and ambulance crews have been contacted for comment.
