Heavy traffic is building following reports of a crash on a busy dual-carriageway.

The A2 London bound is blocked with slow traffic between the A2260 Southfleet Road turn-off for Ebbsfleet and B255 Bean Lane for Dartford and Bluewater.

A lane closure has been implemented to allow recovery work to take place.

Traffic service provider Inrix says it is due to a multi-vehicle accident involving a bus and three cars.

Emergency services have been contacted for comment.
