M25 anti-clockwise congestion clearing with Dartford Crossing affected after crash and breakdown

Traffic is easing following queues of almost 10 miles and delays of 90 minutes earlier this morning at the Dartford Crossing.

It comes after multiple incidents on the M25 anticlockwise between J30 and J29, including a crash which National Highways says has since cleared.

All lanes have reopened after a broken-down lorry caused further issues, with tailbacks clearing.

National Highways had advised the queue length was 9.5 miles with motorists taking an hour and a half to get through the affected area at its peak.
