Man taken to London hospital by air ambulance after police and paramedics called to North Lane, Faversham

A man has been flown to a London hospital by the air ambulance this morning.

Paramedics and police were called to North Lane, Faversham, shortly before 8am following reports of a person requiring medical attention.

Crews attended and treated one person at the scene before an air ambulance team transported them to King’s College Hospital in London.

Police say enquiries are underway into the circumstances.

A South East Coast Ambulance spokesperson said: “SECAmb were called shortly before 8am this morning to reports of a person in need of medical attention in North Lane, Faversham.

“Crews assessed and treated one person at the scene, before being joined by The Air Ambulance Charity, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, who airlifted the patient to Kings College Hospital for further treatment.”

A police spokesperson added: “Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service to concerns for an injured man in North Street, Faversham, at 8.20am.

“Officers attended the scene and the man was taken by air ambulance to hospital for further medical attention. Enquiries are underway into the circumstances.”
