Woman arrested after report of threatening behaviour at Elizabeth Court in Queen Street, Herne Bay

A woman has been arrested after police were called to a council-owned housing block this afternoon.

Officers descended on Elizabeth Court in Queen Street, Herne Bay, at about 2.45pm after receiving reports a woman was acting in a threatening manner towards another individual.

Police were on the scene at Elizabeth Court in Queen Street, Herne Bay

Multiple police cars could be seen in the area, along with officers carrying specialist equipment typically used to break down doors.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray.

A police spokesperson said: “Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.”
