Give A Gift, kmfm’s toy appeal supported by Bargain Hunter UK, has collected thousands of toys for children in need this Christmas.
The campaign is all about spreading a little bit of joy to young people in hospitals, care facilities, and those in less fortunate situations across Kent.
This year’s appeal has been a fantastic success with the station receiving more than 13,800 toys from listeners, businesses and the Bargain Hunter UK family since the start of the campaign.
The gifts were sorted into age-appropriate categories and have now made their way to 30 locations across Kent.

Rob Wills, kmfm Drivetime presenter said it has been an “incredible year of giving” and he “still can’t quite believe how generous everyone has been”.
He added: “I was lucky enough to be on many of the deliveries this year and every beneficiary has a different story and reason this appeal makes such a difference to them.
“The difference this toy appeal has made to children across Kent is immeasurable and we would like to thank everyone who donated, shared and spoke to someone about it. We hope we have made you proud and have a wonderful Merry Christmas.”
Early this week on Rob’s show, kmfm presenters Andy Walker and Numi Gildert joined to hear an emotional story Rob had picked up on a delivery.
Peter Nix, from Bargain Hunter UK, said “I want to say a huge thank you to our Bargain Hunter UK users and family and of course the kmfm listeners – without their donations this campaign would never be possible.
“Being a part of this for the second year has been one of my highlights of the year. Thank you for being a part of our campaign.”
