A museum is set to prove it’s not just a dusty repository for items from the past - by hosting a disco devoted to hits of the 1980s.

Maidstone Museum - based in a Grade II-listed Elizabethan manor house will welcome partygoers inside its St Faith's Street site after hours to boogie next month.

The event, open to those aged 18 and over, will be hosted by DJs Debora V and Vinyl Matt.

Organisers recommend partygoers “come in your favourite 80’s electric blue leg warmers or just dress to boogie!”.

The disco will take place on Saturday, November 23 from 7.30pm to 11pm.
