Part of the M20 has been closed due to a serious crash involving multiple vehicles.
The London-bound carriageway is currently shut between junction five for Aylesford and junction four for Leybourne and West Malling.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 6pm.
The crash is believed to involve a lorry and a car.
The carriageway is currently closed and all lanes are coned off while investigation work is ongoing.
National Highways says that work will be ongoing throughout the night.
Diversions are in place and traffic is still being diverted via the exit and entry slips within junction 4.
Traffic towards Chatham on the A229 is heavy following an earlier incident on the northbound carriageway, near junction 6 for the M20.
A man was reported injured and taken to a local hospital after the crash involving two vehicles and a bike near Blue Bell Hill.
National Highways has also reported of long delays on the M20 coastbound between junctions 8 and 9 due to a broken down vehicle.
