Rail services have been delayed and cancelled after an ill passenger was taken to hospital.
Southeastern routes between Maidstone East and Charing Cross and Ashford and London Victoria are facing alterations and cancellations.
An ambulance crew were called to Braming train station and the person was assessed and treated before being taken to Maidstone Hospital.
The railway company says it is working to get their trains running on time after taking to social media to alert its customers about the delays at 6.45pm this evening.
“A passenger has been taken ill on a train near Barming. Trains from London Victoria to Ashford will be delayed or altered,” the firm said in a social media post on X, at about 6.45pm.
It later added: “Trains can now run to from London Victoria to Ashford following a passenger being taken ill.
“Trains between Maidstone East and Charing Cross and Ashford and London Victoria may be altered or cancelled as we work to get trains running on time.”

“No service on Southeastern country bound between Otford and Maidstone East due to passenger illness,” traffic agency Inrix added.
