Forstal Road, near Aylesford, partially closed following crash near Cobtree Manor Park

A woman has been taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle crash.

Forstal Road has been partially closed between the Running Horse Roundabout and Beddow Way near Aylesford, off the A229.

KCC Highways has advised drivers to approach with caution and say police officers are at the scene of the crash.

Traffic system Inrix said the road was partially blocked in both directions after a three-vehicle crash around Cobtree Manor Park this afternoon.

Kent Police confirmed the collision was at around 2.45pm and it involved three vehicles.

A spokesman said: “Officers and ambulance crews attended, and a woman was taken to a local hospital.”

A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “Two fire engines were sent to the scene, and crews helped one person from the car, who was passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.”

KCC highways later confirmed that the road reopened at 6.20pm.
