Emergency services were called to the scene of a car fire on the A21.

Long queues formed on the coastbound carriageway, between Tonbridge and Pembury, this evening following a two-vehicle collision near the North Farm industrial estate.

Police, paramedics and fire crews were called to the crash shortly after 4.30pm where minor injuries have been reported.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said earlier: “The slip road from North Farm on the southbound carriageway remains closed pending vehicle recovery.”

It’s understood traffic conditions have since returned to normal.
