A man has been taken to hospital after a crash involving two vehicles and a bike near Blue Bell Hill .

Emergency services were scrambled to the scene on the northbound carriageway of the A229, near junction 6 for the M20.

Two police cars, a fire engine and an ambulance were at the scene shortly after 5.30pm.

A man was reported injured and taken to a local hospital.

Elsewhere, officers have also been called to attend a serious crash involving multiple vehicles on the London-bound carriageway of the M20.

Police were called to the scene near junction four at around 6pm.

The road is currently coned off across all lanes with access only for emergency services.

A spokesman for Kent Police told KentOnline: "The road is closed while investigation work is ongoing and diversions are in place."
