A popular yearly light show held at the cathedral will take on a scientific twist this year.

Simply called Science, the Rochester event will explore the contributions of science and human understanding of the physical world.

The light show has been created by 'Luxmuralis'

The experience will explore chemistry and biology as it interprets the scale of molecules, cells and DNA as well as exploring the history of the subject.

Visitors will be immersed in a walk through the historic building and will be able to view light and sound art installations digitally.

The show has been created by Luxmuralis, which is composed of artist Peter Walker and composer David Harper.
