CCTV image released after two teenagers assaulted in Station Road, Rainham

A 17-year-old girl was left with concussion after being punched in the head following another alleged assault involving a teenager.

The incident was reported to have happened in Station Road, Rainham.

During the assaults a man is said to have approached a 17-year-old boy before punching him in his face and then pulling a chain from his neck, which caused the jewellery to break.

The suspect then hit the girl in her head which made her fall to the ground and caused her to sustain concussion.

The alleged assaults took place on Sunday, July 21 between 9pm and 9.15pm.

Following the attacks officers have carried out several lines of enquiry, including reviewing CCTV.

They have now issued an image of a man they are keen to talk to who may have important information about the incident.
