A road has been shut in both directions following an accident involving a motorbike.

The incident happened at about 8.30pm this evening in Ash Tree Lane, Gillingham, reports say.

The road is said to be blocked at the Beacon Round turnoff.

Traffic monitoring expert Inrix says: “Ash Tree Lane in both directions blocked due to accident, a motorbike involved around Beacon Road.”

Police have been contacted for comment.
