A stretch of the M2 is partially blocked following an accident, reports say.

It is understood the coastbound route between J4 for A278 Hoath Way (Gillingham) and J5 A249 (Sittingbourne/Stockbury Roundabout) is affected due to the incident.

Traffic monitoring expert Inrix says: “M2 coastbound partially blocked, delays due to accident from J4 A278 Hoath Way (Gillingham) to J5 A249 (Sittingbourne / Stockbury Roundabout).”

Police have been contacted for comment.
