Arrest after police seize seven suspected stolen push bikes from St Albans Close, Gillingham

An arrest has been made after police uncovered a treasure trove of suspected stolen bikes.

Officers are seeking the rightful owners of several push bikes recovered from an address in St Albans Close, Gillingham.

A total of seven were found – including Boardman, Specialized, Canyon and Dunlop models.

Police have arrested a 39-year-old man in connection with the suspected thefts. He was released on bail, pending further enquiries, until March 15.

The bikes were recovered on Monday, December 18 and it’s hoped potential victims will come forward to reclaim them and assist officers with their investigation.

Proof of ownership may be required, including serial numbers or other information which may help link a bike to its owner such as receipts or personal photos.
