Children are unable to swim at a leisure centre due to 'cooler than usual' temperatures and a lack of hot water.
Staff at Medway Park, in Mill Road, Gillingham, have restricted access to its swimming pool today due to ongoing gas repairs.
Due to the works, the centre currently has no hot water for showers and taps.
It is also reporting reduced air temperature around the building and poolside.
The team say pool water temperatures are sustained but will be slightly lower than usual.
As such, only adults will be able to use the pool today.
In a statement, Medway Sport – which runs the centre – apologised for the disruptions.
The statement reads: "Unfortunately we have no further good news on gas repairs.
"Therefore swimming will be adult only all day and temperatures are cooler than usual with no hot water for showers.
"We are very sorry this has continued to disrupt services."
It is not yet known how long the works will take to be completed.
Medway Park has a 25-metre six-lane swimming pool, a segregated shallow section, a teaching pool and a diving pool.
It previously had to close for an extended period in April last year due to heating problems.
That closure was due to "ongoing technical issues" that affected hot water and heating at the site.
