Man left with serious injuries after alleged group assault at The Cannon pub in Brompton, Gillingham

A man has been left with serious facial injuries following a fracas at a pub.

Two men in their 30s were injured following an alleged group assault outside The Cannon in Brompton, Gillingham, in the early hours of yesterday morning (December 15).

The incident was reported to police at 12.22am, who attended and found the pair with facial injuries.

This included cuts, broken teeth and a suspected broken jaw which required medical attention at Medway Maritime Hospital.

Police confirmed to KentOnline an investigation into the incident is underway, including the examination of CCTV in the area.

Witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police should call the appeal line on 01634 792209, quoting 46/211988/24.

Motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.
