Kent Police appeal after customer in Coral, Edenbridge, targeted following win

Police have released a CCTV image after a customer was targeted at a high street bookies.

A man threw a stool at one of the machines in the branch of Coral in Edenbridge before attempting to steal money from a woman.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on July 28, shortly after the victim had collected winnings made on a gambling machine.

It is reported the man, who had been sitting next to her, suddenly became aggressive and threw a stool at one of the machines.

The suspect is said to have then approached the victim, who was standing at a counter, and made unsuccessful efforts to grab cash from her hands. He then left the scene.

As part of their enquiries, officers have released a CCTV image and are keen to speak to the person pictured.
