Woman taken to hospital after falling from horse outside Stones Garden Centre in Halfway Road, Minster

A woman has been taken to hospital after falling off her horse on a busy main route.

Emergency services were called to outside the Stones Garden Centre in Halfway Road, Minster, just after 8pm on Saturday (August 3).

Paramedics treated the woman at the scene before she was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.

Police were also in attendance and controlled traffic while the woman received treatment.

One witness to the incident said on social media that “some idiot honked his horn” behind the horse which startled the animal and it threw the rider.
