Teens taken to hospital after crash near McDonald’s in Bridge Road, Sheerness

Two teenagers have been taken to hospital after an e-bike crash near a town centre McDonald’s.

The boys, aged 14 and 15, were injured as a result of the smash in Bridge Road, Sheerness.

The collision took place around 7pm last night with police being called just before 7.10pm.

Paramedics were also in attendance and treated the boys at the scene before taking them to Medway Maritime Hospital.

It is understood one of the boys suffered a head injury and the other had a hand and leg injury.

Kent police have advised KentOnline that it was not an e-scooter crash as officers had first reported.
