A former research centre site has been sold for more than £1.3 million.
The Broadoak Enterprise Centre, near Kent Science Park in Sittingbourne, has been auctioned off for well above its guide price.
The 2.5-acre premises in Broadoak Road that used to be occupied by research group BBI Solutions was listed for around £850,000 by auctioneers Clive Emson.
However, a bidding war between five serious bidders ended on Friday, November 1 and saw the site sold for £1,310,000.
The lot included six units which range from offices, laboratories, workshops and stores.
There is also parking on site which is surrounded by woodland and can be accessed from a private road.
