A Burger King franchise is earmarked to open at a petrol station.
Plans for the fast food giant to move into a new building are part of a larger revamp of the BP in St Paul’s Street near Sittingbourne Retail Park.
The kitchen layout, detailed in an application to Swale council, shows fry dispensers, milkshake and ice machines.
There will also be a small seating area in the front of the restaurant.
These blueprints have been submitted to the council’s planning committee by the business’s owner Motor Fuel Group (MFG).
If given the green light, Burger King will be housed in a new building which will be built next to the existing petrol station which is home to Subway and Londis.
To make room for the 92 sq m, eatery the current car wash will be demolished.
A new jet wash will also be built next to Burger King, which will be the 14th in Kent.
MFG says in the planning documents that its plans will generate one full-time and eight part-time jobs and that it will “make the best use” of the land “while making a significant contribution to the economy”.
