A hunt is on for two men on e-bikes who attacked and robbed a man.
The victim, who is in his 20s, told investigators the duo, also in their 20s, approached him in Murston Road near Woodberry Drive Store in Sittingbourne.
The suspects, described as white, are said to have demanded the man’s wallet before assaulting him and stealing his mobile phone between 9pm and 9.15pm on Christmas Eve near the mini roundabout connecting the road to Woodberry Drive.
They fled via Canterbury Road where The Flame and Grill restaurant and Murston Fish and Chips restaurants are.
One of the men had long, thick black hair and a beard and was wearing a black or grey tracksuit.
The other had short, light hair and was wearing a balaclava and black tracksuit.
Police are investigating and are examining CCTV from the area but are urging anyone who knows anything about the attack and has not yet spoken to police to contact the appeal line.
They would particularly like to speak to a taxi driver in a white vehicle who may have driven past at the time.
Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcams are also asked to check for relevant footage.
