Emergency services are at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash causing delays on a main route.

Police and ambulance crews have been scrambled to the scene of a three-vehicle accident in Margate Road, Ramsgate.

Officers were called to the crash on the A20 at 4.45pm this evening (Tuesday, November 28) and are working to clear the road which is partially blocked in both directions.

The accident is causing heavy traffic according to reports.

The ambulance service has been approached for comment.
