Singer James Blunt has seen his likeness in a police mugshot that has gone viral.
The 50-year-old, known best for his song You’re Beautiful, commented ‘Uh-oh’ on a repost of a Kent Police release of a CGI relating to a burglary in Tunbridge Wells.
Officers are investigating reports of an intruder entering a 90-year-old’s house, posing as a policeman, and released an e-fit of the suspect.
It has gained traction on social media with 12.9 million views on the post on X, formerly known as Twitter, after being published on Monday, April 29.
The man's description may put Mr Blunt in the clear as it says he is "thought to be in his 30s and may have a front tooth missing at the top".
Smartly dressed James may also be ruled out by the added description of a "white, short-sleeved, round-necked T-shirt, which was described as dirty, at the time of the incident".
It’s the second time this week a Kent Police e-fit has gone viral.
X-Factor star Rylan Clark posted “Wasn’t me x” after a CGI of a bearded robbery suspect, which resembled the TV personality, was released.
