Voices from seven different communities across the county will be hoping to be pitch perfect as they battle it out to become Top Choir Kent 2016 this weekend.
The finals of the contest, which is now in its seventh year, will see choirs from every corner of Kent putting a range of styles to the test.
The finalists are Canterbury Community Gospel Choir, Elham Valley Voices, FUNdamentally GOSPEL from Orpington, Kent Show Choir from Ramsgate, the Kentones from Bromley, Thanet Community Gospel Choir and Tongswood Chamber Choir from Hawkhurst.
Competition director John Harris said: “The standard of entries is always exceptionally high. All the choirs are very distinctive.
"They range from gospel to chamber via barbershop and all have demonstrated extraordinary talent. The audience will be in for a real treat.”
The contest will be held at Shirley Hall, the King’s School, Canterbury on Saturday, March 19. The winning group will be able to join the Canterbury Big Sing at the Marlowe Theatre in April.
