An investigation into the incident is ongoing and police have constructed a computer-generated image of a man they wish to identify.

The picture shows a man in his 20s, with wavy ginger hair and blue eyes.

It is thought he exposed himself to his victim after pretending to be interested in buying her beach hut.

The Tankerton Bay Beach Hut Association sent out a warning to its members about the alleged flasher.

It said: “A young man engaged one of our members in conversation, pretending to be someone looking to buy a hut.

“After trying to get her to show him inside her hut, he exposed himself.

“He was about 5ft 9, slim build, caucasian and blue-eyed.”

The association went on to tell owners to “please consider very carefully if you need to be at your hut on your own”.

It added: “The beach hut owner is unharmed, but extremely grateful to another hut owner who kindly came along and sat with her while she waited for the police to arrive, so a big thank you to that kind man.”

Anyone with information regarding the incident, or the identity of the man pictured, should call police on 01843 222289, quoting 46/47419/25.
